Yolo County Ten-Year Plan to End 首页lessness

In 2008/2009, the cities of West Sacramento, 戴维斯, 林地, Winters and the County of Yolo conducted community meetings, 海洋之神登录入口论坛, 网站访问, surveys and individual interviews with residents, 海洋之神登录入口提供商, 社区领袖, homeless persons and other stakeholders to create a plan to develop an integrated and effective system to address the needs of homelessness in our community. One Piece at a Time: Ending & Preventing 首页lessness in Yolo County outlines key elements of a homeless prevention strategy, 经济适用房目标, supportive services needed to successfully house homeless individuals and to maximize their self-sufficiency, and an implementation plan for administration, coordination and financing.

Inclusionary 住房 Ordinance

It sets forth the City's strategy to preserve and enhance the community's residential character, expand housing opportunities for all economic segments, and provide guidance and direction for local government decision-making in all matters related to housing.

的西萨克拉门托市 is a member of the Yolo County 首页less Coalition. 的 Coalition facilitates grant writing and coordinates referrals between non-profit and governmental homeless services providers on a county basis.
In response to community member concerns regarding the effects of homelessness, a study was undertaken to assemble information garnered from neighborhood residents, 商界, 社会海洋之神登录入口机构, and persons experiencing homelessness through a series of community meetings and personal interviews.

Combined with extensive research on homeless programs across the nation, the resulting 2013年无家可归者更新 contains the best available data on the status of homelessness in West Sacramento. 的 Update includes a set of guiding principles to inform homeless policy in West Sacramento: respect, 可持续性, accountability and cooperation.

As a result of the 首页less Update, the City developed the 2013年无家可归者行动计划 to address concerns and improve services available to persons experiencing homelessness in West Sacramento. 的 Action Plan is based on the principles from the 首页less Update, and focuses on: enhancing public safety; improving communication between the City, County and other stakeholders; expanding resources available to combat homelessness; and developing effective delivery systems for services.
